Hallo Keith,
das Schrimpegassefest in Schwanheim war allein durch dich der Megahammer. Tolle Songs, super Stimmung, einfach nur klasse! Danke an die Germania Schwanheim und an Helmut, die dieses Event möglich gemacht haben. Es war toll bei euch. Keith, du bist ein super Typ, wir freuen uns auf deinen nächsten Auftritt in Schwanheim bei Anton Schneider 5.

Hi Keith,dein Auftritt am Schrimpegassefestin in Schwanheim ist immer noch in aller Munde......Alle, die am Sonntag im Hof der "Germania" miterleben durften, waren hellaufbegeistert........Das war einfach nur "geil", um es einmal auf den Punkt zu bringen.....
Wir werden uns bestimmt auf einem deiner Konzerte wiedersehen.....desweiteren vielleicht schon bald, wenn es die Germania möglich machen kann, auf einer Weihnachtsfeier des Vereins... Lieber Keith, bis dahin wünsche ich dir weiterhin tolle Auftritte und alles Glück dieser Erde....... Viele Grüße an Deine liebe Familie mit deinen beiden

Well John....uh...thanks I guess but I have to disagree with you. First of all, of the approximatelly 30 songs that we, Waymond and I, performed, three were Hip-Hop, one was straight pop and the rest were soul / Disco Soul. Since you were expecting an "evening of soul" I have to ask you, what exactly is your definition of soul. I have to inform you that the european defifinition is very different from the American definition. Furthermore, no one advertised our event as "an evening of soul music". The event was called Rodenbach Steht Kopf and the theme of Rodenbach Steht Kopf is "Schlager meets Soul". Now, as a professional singer here in Germany since 2006, I can tell you that Soul here in Germany means everything from text book Soul to Rock and Roll, to Pop, to Disco, to R&B to Blues. The Hip-Hop that I added on the evening simply provided an appropriate spice to the event. I have to also tell you that I've been to many "soul" concerts here in Germany only to find that maybe 50% of the music presented was actually soul, but as a professional entertainer here in Germany, I understand why. There are not many pure soul fans here, I mean people who actually want to hear "soul" the whole evening. If there were, there would be lots of "Soul" clubs and pubs. For this reason, a typical concert of soul here in Germany is a concert that focuses on music that concentrates on the "black music charts" of today and yesterday but performed in an energetic and soulful way. So John, I hope I answered your question and I wish you good luck in finding the next "soul" concert here in Europe. Would have loved to reply to your email address, but, as expected, you didn't leave one. People that have something negative to say normally don't want to be contacted, as if they had no "soul".Keep On Groovin'

Hello Keith,
I was really looking forward to a night of soul yesterday in Rodenbach. Unfortunately what we got was a night of hip-hop. Brilliantly sung with lots of power and energy but simply not what was advertised. Maybe next year!
